To mark Museum Night, the château is opening its doors to you at night and inviting you to discover its exhibitions free of charge.
In a spirit of exchange and conviviality, the visitors’ service, in partnership with the grocery shop Dans L’Même Panier (Rochechouart), invites you to meet up after your visit in the courtyard of the château. A welcome drink will be offered on presentation of your admission ticket.
Come and share a moment of discovery with your family! There will also be a variety of outdoor activities for young and old alike.
In addition, as part of the La classe, l’œuvre! operation, a video presentation of an arts education project will be shown based on the site-specific work La ligne de Rochechouart, by artist Richard Long. The project, entitled Les perles de la Gartempe (Pearls of the Gartempe), was carried out by a class of 6th graders from Collège Louis Timbal in Châteauponsac.
