Exposition After Image

Echoing Babette Mangolte’s Spaces to SEE exhibition, a selection of works from the museum’s collection is displayed on the second floor of the castle around the themes of individual and collective memory and the ways in which images appear. After Image borrows its title from a work by the Austrian artist Ernst Caramelle. After Image is above all interested in vision. How we all create images through our eyes and thoughts, how each place we pass through leaves us an experience and a trace.
