The museum is open from March 1st to December 15th.
From wednesday to sunday, from 10 AM to 12.30 PM and from 1.30 PM to 6 PM.
Closed on monday and tuesday

Accessibility

The Musée d’art contemporain de la Haute-Vienne – Château de Rochechouart works to strengthen the welcome and support of all audiences. The museum is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and reduced mobility, dyslexics, the elderly or allophones. The historic spaces of the castle as well as the museum rooms are fully accessible by elevators and adapted visitor assistance equipment is available free of charge.

Museum staff are also trained for specific audiences wishing to visit the castle. Visits as well as activities designed according to disabilities can be carried out by appointment for groups, either during the museum’s opening hours or during dedicated times.

The accessibility contact person is in charge of these visits.

The museum is equipped with:

  • Elevators serving all floors
  • Magnetic loop at reception
  • Brochure in F.A.L.C language (in french)
  • Practical information located outside with appropriate signage

A parking space for people with disabilities is located near the castle. Entrance to the museum is free for people with disabilities.
