On Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the courtyard of the Musée d’art contemporain de la Haute-Vienne – Château de Rochechouart will host an outdoor theater evening dedicated to comedy and good cheer.

Presented by the Haute-Vienne Department and the Théâtre de La Mégisserie, the show “Molière and His Masks,” performed by the Le K theater company, invites young and old alike to (re)discover the world of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin.

Suitable for ages 8 and up, this play humorously and energetically recounts Molière’s life, celebrating a form of theater that returns to the basics: a simple stage, masks, costumes, and acting.

Set against the exceptional backdrop of the château, this outdoor performance promises a truly unique experience.
